Central Asia: Currently, on behalf of the Eurasia Democracy Initiative, we are pushing for the U.S. Government to crack down on Central Asian oligarchs who use American banks and businesses to launder their profits from corruption and repression back home.

New York Power: Working in New York as well as Washington, our neighborhood includes some of Capitol Hill’s top foreign policy voices: Senator Chuck Schumer of New York, the Senate Majority Leader; Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee; Representative Gregory Meeks, who chairs the House Foreign Affairs Committee; and Representative Hakeem Jeffries of New York, the fifth-ranking Democrat in the House.
